IT Systems Manager

Claro Learning offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible & proactive IT Manager to play a pivotal role in the development and management of our established IT Department.  

The successful applicant will be responsible for the strategic management and development of the company IT function. 

High level experience and qualifications in IT management & Support, Web Applications, Programming and Databases are essential in addition to proven qualification(s) or skills in people management. 

We require excellent knowledge of working with virtual learning environments and learning technology.

Competitive remuneration will be offered for this full time position based at our Head Office in Tavistock, Devon.

Support Facilitators Wanted in London

Claro Learning provides support to individuals with disabilities in Higher Education and the Workplace.  We wish to hear from enthusiastic freelance Support Facilitators in London as follows:

Manual Note Takers / Practical Assistants 
The role of a Note Taker and Practical Assistant is to provide student-led support in order to help them access their learning and to engage with student life. Applicants must hold a University Degree, have an understanding of disability and hold a Level 3 Note Taking qualification or be willing to obtain one.

Study Assistants
We require applicants to demonstrate skills and experience of working with people with disabilities (e.g. Mental Health and Autistic Spectrum Disorders) in Higher Education &/or the workplace.

Qualified Communication Support Facilitators/Electronic Note Takers 

Specialist Mentors

You will hold professional qualifications and experience of working with people with disabilities, and knowledge of the Higher Education system &/or the workplace. 

Specialist one to one Study Support Facilitators (SpLD)

You will need to be a qualified teacher with specialist qualifications in working with students with SpLD’s at Level 7 or above. 

All Claro Learning Facilitators work on a self-employed basis and are responsible for their own tax and National Insurance in addition to holding adequate Public Liability Insurance cover and a recent Enhanced DBS Disclosure (Adult workforce).
